What is the difference between the Image Size and the Matted Size?
The image size is the actual size of the image. If it says 10″x14″, for example, then the image will actually be printed to be 10″x14″.
The matted size of our artwork includes extra material that surrounds the image (e.g. mats, frames, white border.) We offer the most universal (not small, not huge) 10”X14” image size, matted 16”x20” using acid free white cardboard, protected by special crystal clear bags and it is ready to frame. Between the image and the mat there is a white field that measures 0.5”. On the bottom left side of the white field, we hand write a short description of the image. On the bottom right side is the original signature of the photographer. If you order a matted print with a frame, overall size will be 16”x20”.
Does the colors of images on your website accurately transferred on art prints?
Because we print from our own files, use same equipment profiles, same inks, and same types of papers from same manufacturers, colors on our products are identical. However, the website visual representation from different devices like desktops, laptops, iPads and smart phones may be slightly altered, due to different settings or devices screen resolution.
